Wayne Bond

(He/Him/His)

Assistant Director of Campus Engagement

Wayne Bond comes into the CAB advising position after spending 11 years already at WMU. He has overseen events for ESL students, all international student events and was a Career Advisor. He looks forward to helping CAB develop the campus into a healthy environment for people to thrive in for years to come. When not at work, he loves spending time editing or reading. Him and his dogs Hagrid and Cloud love taking walks all around the area.

I have always been excited about impacting the campus environment and student development and working with CAB allows me that influence. Through developing the members of CAB, we are able to strengthen the campus through a core unit. This core unit creates the beating heart for how the University will move into the COVID era and I am proud and excited to see what CAB does.

My favorite part of being an advisor for CAB is having the opportunity to watch students grow as leaders and individuals all while making campus more engaging for their peers! CAB has the ability to foster strong relationships between students while creating transformational experiences. I am proud to advise a group that continues to change our campus for the better!
